The following is a brief overview of the various installation methods for the terrazzo floor.

Angelozzi Precast Terrazzo Tile

Porcelain Terrazzo: If you have porcelain terrazzo tiles, the easiest way to install them is to use an adhesive. Apply the adhesive to the back of the tiles and then place them on your floor. Make sure to line up the edges of the tiles so that they are flush.

Ceramic Terrazzo: If you have ceramic terrazzo tiles, you will need to use grout instead of adhesive. Mix the grout with water until it's a consistency that you like, and then pour it into areas where you want the tile to be applied.

Stone Terrazzo: If you have stone terrazzo tiles, you will need to use an adhesive and a masonite board. Place the adhesive on the back of the tiles and then place the masonite board over it. Make sure that the top of the masonite board is level with the top of the tiles. Use a level to make sure that everything is straight. Let it dry for at least two hours before using the tile.

There are a number of different ways to install terrazzo tiles in your home. Whether you use porcelain, ceramic, or stone tiles, the process is basically the same.
